The first volume of the Foundation for Castle Studies Netherlands (SKN)The SKN aims to promote and publish scientific research into castles, country estates, estates and related historical greenery.
The publication includes newly discovered castle grounds that question traditional dating based on external features. Some articles tie in seamlessly with current events.

Study day
The collection will be presented on December 15 during the study day 'Open - closed. The accessibility of castles, cities and country estates'. This day is organized by the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands in Amersfoort. Participation is free. Considering the expected interest, timely registration is necessary.
