Shooting range
In 1891, the Department of War ordered the construction of a shooting range in garrison towns in order to train the military in the accurate use of weapons. In response, new plans were developed in Gorinchem that took shape in the following two years. The construction and building were put out to tender in 1893.
Made in 2004 Hollandia Archaeologists a photo report of what can still be seen of this track.
