Dalem donk is located around an archaeological site

GORINCHEM – The homes of the third and final donk of the successful housing project Dalemse Donken are now for sale. The third donk, the Dalem donk, is perhaps the most special of the housing project. The homes of the third donk are being built next to an archaeological site. The 43 homes are also being built in a 30s style.

The playing field is not the only place where the old past of the Dalem Donk is remembered. An art route runs through all the donks. The shape of the route is determined by the contours of the archaeological donk that used to be there. Because the route runs through nature reserves, but also through streets and private property, the art route is not visible and accessible everywhere. Where possible, the route is marked. The Dalemse Donken is a chic and spacious residential area.
